    Wonderful listening experience and useful features makes up for the disappointing microphone.

    4 stars for the product simply because the microphone, which I use often, was not as great as I had hoped; nonetheless they provide a beautiful listening experience. Some of my favorite features include pairing 2 bluetooth devices at once, the programmable button and touch gestures, and the ability to listen to ambient noise by placing my palm onto the right hand side of the headphones. I bought these to replace and upgrade my old Sony Hear.on headphones and I was pleased to find that the range was much longer. Additionally, the case for these headphones has a better, more portable design. I am not an audiophile, but I do enjoy listening to music on Spotify for long periods of time and streaming movies for their full duration.     Superb Noise Cancellation , but other features are buggy.

    Best noise cancellation headphones you can buy . The dual Bluetooth functionality is buggy and does not work well. I had bought this headphones mostly for dual Bluetooth functionality , so that I can keep it connected to computer and my phone. It switches the input automatically according to the sound output of the device. There is no proper control to switch it based on your need. Sometimes in middle of a call on phone, it switches to computer , even if you are not playing anything on computer. It is very frustrating. Even the speak to chat functionality is buggy, even when the feature is turned off in the settings , it switches to amplify outside noise in the middle of the call making it quite annoying. I am facing these issues despite having the latest firmware.

    WH-1000XM4 Great Sound & Cancellation, Complex Functionality Needs Work

    These headphones replaced Beats studio 3 over the ear noise cancelling. The sound quality is superior to the Beats, the fit and weight are similarly good. The Sony XM4 head phones have a considerable number of options including an IOS/Andriod optimization app. I am using a apple iphone X with the most current IOS. The battery life is considerable at greater than 20 hours which compares to the 8 hours of my prior beats. The sound cancellation is far superior to the prior Beats, however, the software is always adapting to the surrounding location, movement and ambient sounds causing fluctuations in the external noise suppression causing an external noise source to randomly increase and decline in volume.     Fantastic sound quality. Better than my Beyerdynamics. Get the A2DP driver that allows the LDAC codec and get the XM4 Github equalizer settings and prepare for pure bliss. The sound canceling is great. If you have any sound going, even very low sound, you can't hear anything. With just the headphones on you can barely hear voices. There are modes you can toggle with a button to allow you to use the Headphones built in mic to allow sounds to be heard. You can adjust volume by just swiping up or down on the right speaker. It connects to 2 devices cleanly. As to the seller himself. As far as I can tell these headphones are brand new. Not a single spec of dirt on them. He washed them down well and they work as advertised. They appear so new in fact I almost think this was a new return from ...

    Well put together product

    These are very good quality and something I can work with at the gym. I had read a bunch of reviews that the range wasn't good but it turns out to be excellent range. The noise cancelling is next-level and of course the sound quality is excellent. Likely if it were any better I'd not be able to tell the difference, these are very good. The last negative set of reviews I had read is that some of the features are useless but I've found that you do have to spend some time in the app to make it all work out so it learns the difference between your environment home vs. gym. After a couple tweaks in the settings everything beats my expectations on usability.
