    Old and Reliable

    Though the E5-2680 v2 is a bit dated at this point, this platform is one of the best options. 10 Cores, 20 Threads per CPU at 2.8GHz with Boost Speeds up to 3.6GHz. The platform is capable of up to 768GB of RAM which should give anyone in the home space looking to use older Commercial grade server equipment more than enough headroom to use in a Home Lab environment.
