In fact, it looked brand new, without any signs of previous use. Used it a couple of times, and exceeds all my expectation. The only warning is that this unit is a tad longer than the usual (7 cups) food processor. This one is 13 cups, but comes with a smaller 5-cup work bowl that fits inside. I've been using a smaller Cuisinart model for several years, and this one is a big improvement. It's a much larger capacity, has an adjustable slicing blade, and other features. For the price, I couldn't have done better. It looks as perfect as a new one.
