Great machine. Good workout. Downside is that you need to pay for ifit to take advantage of the majority of the touchscreen features. The fan is also too small and useless. But the overall unit is solid and works well. Kicks my rear every time and easy on the knees. Wish it had a hand grip heart rate monitor. Came with a strap on monitor but if you have any chest hair it won't work. So my wife can't use it. Haha. Kidding. I would certainly recommend this if you like a good cardio workout but your knees can't take the pounding of a treadmill. I tried a lot and reviewed even more and I'm happy with this purchase.

I'm a little bit on the fence about this machine because it's SO heavy and expensive. It required 4 people to haul it up just 1.5 flights of stairs (it wasn't in a box). It is SO stinking heavy that I have a hard time moving it just a little bit to a different spot in the same room! I'm not sure that I feel like I'm "floating on air" like people say. My feet certainly do not hurt after I use it though. I can do very long strides (which I love doing that), shorter strides, up and down as if taking stairs, and straight up and down as if climbing, and backwards for all of these movements. No stopping to switch anything. I just change my stride. That's cool. It does have about 37 programs so I can just get on and the machine will auto change the resistance and incline/decline periodically. That's cool. I don't use iFit with the video and whatnot. It's not motivational to me. I just put on a movie or TV show while I'm on it. I guess my being on the fence has to do with the fact that it's so heavy to move when I need to and expensive. Was it worth it just to get a little cardio into my day? Would a regular elliptical have done? I'm not sure. I do like that I can use it as a stepper without needing another machine. OH, and it extremely QUIET! No loud treadmill motor sound!!! I love that! I can watch a movie on this machine and not disrupt others watching with me.Read full review

This was a used machine (only hours of run time), it had a few scratches that were accurately shown and described. Most of them could be made undetectable with a little cleaning and Armor-all. This machine shows no difference from new, and we love the versatility of running, elliptical, and stepping. It really makes you work as it responds to what you are doing, and not the other way around line on a bike or standard elliptical. Your legs are following a track/predetermined path, you are controlling the stride length and height. That takes some time to adapt to, but be patient - it's worth it. If you have knee or hip issues this could be very helpful in getting back to what you have done before, without the pound of the pavement under your feet and on your joints.

If you are looking for a light elliptical, keep looking. This baby clocks in at 300 pounds but is sturdy and well built. The design allows you to run at your own stride length. This takes some getting used to but seems to give me a better workout. I'm not a fan of the Ifit but there are enough programs to keep your mind occupied without spending the dough on a subscription. Workout fan is nice, Internet browser leaves something to be desired. I like this machine.

Love this machine! Smooth, quiet, solid quality product. A little more difficult that the average elliptical, but once you get the hang of it you get a great workout. Worth the money.
