About this product

Product Information

For flexibility in height adjustments and angles, the Targus TG-P60T has legs that open independently and adjust at multiple angles. This allows the photographer to use the Targus Tripod to capture shots at lower angles, higher angles, and even on uneven and awkward surfaces. Each of the legs on the Targus Tripod can extend to a maximum height of 60 inches. If the professional tripod is being used at its maximum height with heavier equipment, then a counterweight can be attached to a hook at the base of the center column to change the center of gravity. For level shots, the Targus TG-P60T has a bubble level mounted on the platform. The quick release lever on the professional tripod enables photographers to quickly attach and remove their cameras as needed. The handle attached to the three-way pan head allows for smooth panning and tilting. This Targus Tripod is designed for use with most digital, SLR, and video cameras.

    Minor glitch in assembly, but works great!

    Out of the box, one of the lower leg assemblies promptly fell off. Examination revealed that all the components were there, but it hadn't been properly put together (presumably at the factory). It was a simple matter of examining the other, functioning legs and reassembling the components in the proper order. Took about 15 minutes. Once done, it works great. We use it with an adapter as a base for our cell phone, but it would be a stable platform for any camera. The height-- which is the main reason we chose this tripod over other models-- is perfect! All in all, we are very satisfied with the purchase.

    Very Good basic Tripod

    I bought this tripod after looking at many in the $30 to $60 range. I am not a pro, so did not need a Manfrotto or one of the very expensive units when I got this. The name of the unit is the "Black Label Professional" but it will only hold 5 pounds unassisted so large DSLRs and mega-lenses will not be adequately supported, though there is the hook that can be used to attach some additional weight as a counter-balance to assist with heavier equipment. Regardless, the Targus TG-P60T provides me with the features I need. Although the knobs are fairly intuitive if one has owned a tripod, I did spend a couple of minutes reviewing them, just to be sure. No surprises.     Great Low Cost Tripod

    $36.00! Not a bad tripod for that price. This is my 3rd one of this model. I like the moderately fluid head. The mount pad snaps in place for one handed setup. The 90 degree (portrait) is solid and not flimsy like in other models I have tried. My canon T3i works great on it. The legs even have a platform setting allowing 19 inches from the deck to the pad. There is a wrench for tightening the leg bolts.The only real drawback to the whole thing is the bag carrying handles. I would prefer a shoulder strap.

    Solid, stable, outstanding value

    Can't beat this tripod for the money! I'm not a professional photographer or videographer by any means, but I film videos for youtube as a hobby. I don't use this all that often, most of my stuff is handheld, but it's great for certain situations

    Good lightweight tripod.

    This is my second one because I could get this at a good price. For a small lightweight tripod for prosumer cameras it's good. The had tilts and pans pretty well and easy to latch and release the legs.
