    Works great in a hot tub.

    Great phone. I had one before and it worked better than the others in the house. I did have to change the battery when I got it. The tool is a very small phillips driver. (Harbor Freight has a kit for $5).

    Floating phone for around the pool

    I had one of these Uniden floating phones for about 4 or 5 years and then something went wrong with the ringer so I needed to replace my floating phone and decided to go with the same one again. I love my floating phone around the pool because I don't have to worry about getting it wet when talking to someone in the pool or if someone drops the phone in the pool the phone still works perfectly. The phone is easy to use and nice features on it. Wouldn't want to be without my floating phone during pool season.

    Uniden 5.8 waterproof

    It is definitely waterproof and is great for use in and around my pool. It is compatible with a couple other uniden handsets so it is not necessary to buy several waterproof units, which is a good thing because the waterproof units can be a bit pricey. On the down side, this is my second purchase of one of these due to the first one malfunctioning (caller ID would not work) and the waterproofing rubber peeling away after only a year and a half of normal use. Hopefully I will have better luck this time around. UPDATE: I have now had to purchase a third. It seems as if these only last a couple years and then they just begin to degrade. Unfortunately, I have 5 other accessory handsets tied to this so it is cheaper to just buy another one of these than change out the sets. The new DECT 6.0 ...

    Uniden quality phone

    I like this phone because it has a lot of useful features, like caller I.D., voicemail indicater, lighted keypad, expandibilty, and speakerphone, all on a cordless unit. I have mostly Uniden phones all over my house and I am very satisfied with their products. I got a good price on this product. These units cost much more in the stores.

    Good tough phone

    I like the feel and heft of this phone. Men will like it more than women for sure. Sound quality is quite good and that is what I was looking for as well as a phone that I can take outdoors with no worries. There is one caveat though: If you buy a Uniden phone from an Ebay dealer, Uniden will not honor any warranty, as per my conversation with customer service.
