I have installed several after market radios over the years. This one was about the same except for the GPS antenna and HDMI connections. It also has a speed sensor wire along with the illumination wire that took a bit of sorting. After that the unit works as advertised. Sound quality is excellent and the wireless Android Auto was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended!

This unit is pretty good. I would have liked up-front notification that the wireless Android Auto support is currently only available for certain Google phones and not just any Android phone running Oreo (8.0) or higher. It takes about 10 seconds to get from car start to playing music over Android auto (wired, at least). That is about 20 seconds faster than the factory radio that I had been using over Bluetooth. My biggest gripe was with the cheap USB extension cable that was provided. I had a very difficult time trying to narrow down my inability to get Android auto to work on the head unit. It was because the cable was USB 2.0 spec and would not do anything but charge my OnePlus 6. If someone is going to work out 600-700 dollars for a head unit, he/she would expect to have quality cables and connectors included. It might also be worth noting that the RCA connectors did not have protective caps on them and are not gold plated, either. I would have liked to see more settings for the reverse camera as well as more customizing options for the display. Additional accessories were required for me to be able to keep my steering wheel controls, and those weren't cheap. Overall, it's a great receiver if you have a phone that can take advantage of all of the features, but don't expect the high price to be all-inclusive. If your Android phone doesn't support wireless Android Auto, then the price tag on this one wouldn't be worth it.Read full review

This is a very versatile unit. Wireless Car Play I think is a must. The only 2 down sides I have seen so far is there is a pretty annoying glare on the screen during the day and you have to spend over $100 on wiring harnesses and usb converters to keep your factory steering wheel buttons ect. however all aftermarket units are like that. The screen tilts at different angles to help with the glare so they have done something about that. This unit plays DVD's and CD, has a strong enough FM tuner to get everything I was looking for, Bluetooth / wifi works really well, and it has a ton of options for connecting other monitors ect in the car. Id buy it again.
