. The battery life is better than any other device I own. I like the weight and feel of the phone. The screen size is what I like almost as much as the battery life. I'm not brand loyal, so the thought of the Samsung or Apple products doesn't resonate with me. I have a company iPad and I do love that device, but I feel like I'd rather get a new $200 every few years and buy whatever is cheap at the moment. This Honor 6x fits the bill.. A Fantastic First Phone
This is from a newcomer to the smartphone scene, so I'll have my biases. With that set aside, I really like this phone. After doing about a week of research, I settled on this phone as the best compromise between features, performance and price. It feels responsive to my inputs, has a very good battery (general use with no power savings easily yields 12 hours of battery, with two settings to stretch it further). The camera is great and the second lens for picture sharpening is an underrated feature and is typically only found on higher priced phones. User interface is typical but it's nice to be able to control what's on your phone at a nice price point and choosing who your carrier is is also nice, just be aware that it is a GCM phone. People with smaller hands, reduced dexterity or children may have a longer adjust period. This is a minor drawback and I adjusted quickly from my now returned cheapo phone from a brick and mortar retailer. If I could, I would leave a 4.5 rather than a 5, but 4 would feel a bit harsh, because I really do enjoy this phone.

I've had this phone for a couple weeks now, and it doesn't disappoint. I'm a heavey user, and I still get a day and a half easy. I haven't really played games on it, but I expect that it'll be great as well. it's a good build, great specs, and interesting new software. There are a few bugs with how EMUI 5.1 deals with thing like Facebook, but they're just little flaws. So if you can look past things like a video pasueing and looping a second or two a few times when you like the video, then you'll be fine. The software has a lot to offer and I'm enjoying it thoroughly. I'd recommend this phone to just about anyone. Bought this for my son and though he has only had it about 2 weeks, so far he likes it and is a good value. We just need a good phone with a few nice options. We got that as the 3 LG phones baled on him really quick. The rest of us have the BLU phones which are also great, after 2 years and still going. My son wanted to try something different to see how good it might be. He likes the look and feel and the software and the fingerprint scanner. And a very nice camera, much like the BLU phones.
