This Blackberry may be dated but it is still worth using, I had these when they first came out on the Nextel network. Being a customer of Boost this Blackberry suits me just fine. After doing some search's on Google regarding updating the service books on this model I can now use it for its original intent minus the push email and Blackberry browser. Opera Mini does fill in just nicely as my primary browser. I also am able to text AFTER updating service books and I get my email via Gmail. Coupled with Google Sync and Google Calendar I can keep my calendar up to date as well as my contacts.... All on Boost's Unlimited plan for $53.00 per month (includes tax)!!
what i loved the most was the price supper cheap for a smart phone.the phone it is a very easy phone to use i dont have no complaints what so ever the walkie talkie works great my emails and internet service as well.the only thing that bugs me its that it doesnt have no camera but thats about it,im a number 1 blackberry fan!!!!!!!!!!!
This BlackBerry has been an excellent phone. I love the features and it's easy to use. I chose this model because of the price to see if I'd like using a BlackBerry. I would reccomend this to anyone as a "starter" BlackBerry. My only complaint, which isn't really with the phone, is that I also purchased a holster and the phone fits into it "backwards" leaving the screen exposed. If you find phone at a good price, BUY IT!!
THIS PHONE DOES NOT SUPPORT TWO-WAY TEXT MESSAGING!!!! If you want an older Blackberry that doesn't do two-way text messaging this may be the phone for you. It's cheap to buy, but well-made, not to easy to figure out. It doesn't do much more than my old Motorola i305, which I went back to. So, if you want a glorified calculator that looks like an expensive phone and you don't want to get text messages, this is the phone for you! THIS PHONE DOES NOT SUPPORT TWO-WAY TEXT MESSAGING AND THERE IS NO WAY TO GET THE PHONE TO SUPPORT TWO-WAY TEXT MESSAGING!!!!
This phone can be set up to work on the Boost unlimited plan. They are a bit more bulky than many phones but have a larger screen which is more useful if you want to access the internet on a cell phone.
