this is THE BEST wireless consumer trackball. the only other close contender is the T-RA17 (wireless trackman fx). it has a good number of buttons and a scroll wheel. it is comfortable to use. it is easy to clean and repair. the batteries last a long time. on the downside, the ball is on the small range of acceptable in terms of size. the rubberized plastic used to coat the black uppers ages poorly, as does the silkscreening and coloring on the buttons, but these issues are cosmetic.

I bought my first one when they were new on the market. 10 years later it died on me. No one makes a mouse like this anymore. It is the only one with the ball on the right and the scroll wheel Not under the thumb. For me, it is perfect. I've contacted Logitech about making it again. THey said no. So, the high price you pay on resell is your only option if you REALLY want this mouse. I love it and I;m happy.

I have hand injuries, this is most comfortable mouse I've ever used. Happy to find it 'revived' by colonelpaladin.

This is hands down the best trackball ever made.. unfortunately it has been discontinued by logitech hence the stupid prices. I was lucky and picked up an unused floor display or something because it was in perfect condition with zero wear, for under a 100 bucks... Logitech really need to bring this trackball back to market..

This finger based trackball is much more precise that the thumb based or a traditional mouse. Your fingers more the cursor accurately, no wrist flexing to move, no mouse drumming to pan. It is the best replacement for my old Trackman Marble FX that went obsolete and lost support in Windows.
