The Sony MDR-Q22LP Sport Headphones are perfect for walking activities. They are not like other older models which would snap-click and pinch your ears. Instead, these use spring-loaded hooks which are very comfortable and still remain snug on the ears. I have thoroughly tested these headphones in my normal exercise routine and they do not fall off my ears. The interchangeable caps are a neat feature, but it's not something I really care about. However, someone who likes blue more than silver would probably love it. The headphones are packaged with a silver cap on one, and a blue cap on the other, so I did have to change one of them to silver for a matching pair. It was easy to do. The cord length is 5 feet 3 inches from the L-plug to the Left headphone, which is plenty of cord to work with. The construction of the cord appears to me very well made, strong but flexible. The plug itself is in fact gold-plated for high quality signal delivery. The cord length from the Left headphone to the Right is 20.5 inches, which is considered as a neck chain type, but you can still run it behind the neck if you like (that's what I do). Other specs: The headphones themselves are the open-air dynamic type which are rated to handle 1,000 mW. They use a mylar diaphragm and a neodymium magnet. The driver units are 30 mm, which deliver a very noticeable level of bass. I find that the 24 ohm impedance, 20 - 24,000Hz response, and 103dB/mW sensitivity is ideal for my iPod Shuffle 2nd Generation mp3 player (which is why I bought them). It's also compatible with many other devices I have, but they sound better with my iPod. I haven't noticed any distortion at all, even at higher volumes. I like everything about these headphones. They're easy to put on and take off the ears. They stay in place while I exercise. The wires don't get in my way. And most of all... they deliver rich quality sound considering the sport application they were designed for. I have no complaints.Read full review
I love these headphones. The cord goes around the back of your neck, so that it doesn't hang down in front. Plus it allows you to hang the headphones from your neck when you're not using them. Also, the piece that goes over your ear moves back and forth, it's adjustable, so it fits comfortably on ANY ear type. They also look great with two different covers (blue or silver) to choose from. They also have a nice long cord, which makes them easier to use. I LOVE these headphones!
These are the only headphones I will ever consider. Buds won't stay in my ears and over-the-ears are too bulking and all that bass gives me a headache. These are perfect for running. They aren't wireless but neither is my almost full 160GB iPod Classic that I have no intention of ever giving up either! They are louder than other on-the-ears, have great sound, are lightweight, and the cord is designed to not tangle up!! Worth every penny!!

They fit tight and stay in place. They are corded so they don’t require charging to use them. I have worn these pairs for years and they still work well. I have yet to have a set fail on me. And the circular spring action makes it easy to get them on.

I have owned the swame headphones in the past and find their quality to be just what I like and the price too. This model stoped showing up on the shelves so I was happy to find more from this seller. I purchased two pair and plan to buy more to keep for future use. They work great for guitar practice equipment.
