The hangers will not wrinkle, change color, or bend even when exposed to heat and UV radiation. The in-ear piece of these portable earphones is protected against corrosion. These in-ear audio accessories can even be used in a sauna with no warping.The headphones also include a detachable clip that you can use to keep the cable out of your way, whether you are running or chilling with some music. The Sony MDR-AS20J cable measures 48 inches long, which gives you enough length to connect the active style headphones to any device. They connect to the standard 3.5 mm headphone jack on both Mac and Windows computers. The helpful 90-degree connection for the electronics and speakers keeps them securely in place. These sporty headphones have a mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm stainless steel connector for your Apple iPod, iPad, or iPhone. You can also use them with your Blackberry, Android, or Samsung smartphone. These Sony MDR-AS20J headphones have a 10 Hz frequency response. Their drivers measure 13.5 mm, which delivers an acoustically accurate tone through the dome-shaped structure. These Sony devices make use of powerful neodymium magnets, which optimize their sound efficiency. The sound quality is excellent, and you can hear across five octaves when listening to vocal harmonies. If you are playing a bass-heavy track, the deep notes will not get lost. This black headphone model allows you to control the volume from the device where the music is stored.     Best "clip=on" headphones on the market today

    This is the best clip-on headset that I have found over the years. I don't know why it is called a clip-on headset. It fits comfortably & securely around the ears (with glasses) and has the finest tone for all types of music. Treble and bass, all come in clearly and solidly. Quality of music is only exceeded by the Bose noise cancelling head set I use often. No problems keeping the Sony on while I do housework or walk around the building. I don't run or exercise with it, but compared to all the others I've tried, I believe this one will be the best for activities. Too bad Sony has stopped making this model. I stocked up with a couple of extras so I would always have a pair in reserve. Thank you for your fast delivery.

    Looks nice, speakers blew-out pretty quickly/easily.

    Not great, glad I only bought the one pair. Aesthetically nice, but right speaker blew out after only a few uses & is now rattling. Maybe it's just a bad batch, but can't say I'm too impressed. 1/2 decent for a gym-bag / pair to go running or hiking with. But longevity of the components is questionable. Could very well be discount parts in name-brand shells.

    Sony MDR-AS20

    I started using these earbuds 12 years ago and have not found their equal for sound quality and comfort. I use them when I lift weights, walk, jog, play drums and work in the yard. If you have the tolerance for the price, you'll enjoy the sound quality and comfort....plus they can last for years if you give them the care they deserve. 12 years ago, one could buy a pair for $25.00 at Walmart or Walgreens....

    Great Earphones

    Over the years I have bought and tried many different types of earphones. There are important requirements that I feel earphones should meet. I want them to stay in place and this model encircles the ear and frankly stays in place, only high collars might dislodge them. The second requirement is quality of sound and these meet that requirement hands down. The one complaint I might have with them is that when I fold them up, I roll them around my iPod, they become twisted and that becomes a challenge at times unwinding them. All in all the best buy for your money. I always have an extra set around.

    Faith in Sony restored

    Wow, I was surprised how good these were despite being a low budget headphones. I wanted a good ear hooks style earphones for when I'm working out. I already have Sennheiser OMX185 which are simply the best in terms of sound quality, comfort and durability, but they are a little expensive and I don't want to use them at them gym. So Sony to the rescue! VERY comfortable fit, stays on forever, excellent sound quality, as usual from Sony, loud thumbing bass for those who are into dance, trance and house. It is behind the sennheiser omx185 when it comes to stereo separation and dynamic range, but that's just how it is since it's a cheaper alternative.
