    Compact and articulate

    This is a great sounding small cabinet. I hooked it up to a 2000 watt RMS amplifier, and it handled it with ease. The vocals are smooth, and the box has even coverage throughout its rated pattern. I used a sub woofer, and was doing High School age events, and had enough volume to keep everyone happy. The box was easy to hang and not overly heavy. You do have to remove the crossover to change the cabinet to bi-amped mode, although I ran them as full range passive. These would be best suited in a place that smooth vocal coverage for cheap was desired. There are better boxes for vocals, and they cost 2 or 3 times more.

    Tiny box- much too small for any Bass output

    This speaker is basically the same as JBL’s JRX112 “Entry Level” small PA/ stage monitor that sold at discount stores for $229 or less when new, and currently sells for $115-$125 used. It has the same stamped steel frame Eminence woofer, and the early non-ferrofluid-cooled version of the same tweeter, with a more sophisticated crossover network and a smaller, un-carpeted cabinet. Pleasant-sounding at moderate volume, though very thin (more like non-existent) in the Bass department. Nice looking, very well-made cabinet, but no handles, rubber feet, or tripod pole socket. It is a “compact” speaker for use in a permanent installation for speech and filler music in a church, restaurant, department store, or a club, with steel-reinforced threaded “Fly-points” for mounting brackets or lifting ...
