This coffee maker makes a great cup of coffee and you can control the strength. It will accept beans or ground coffee and best of all no more pods to throw away. Used grinds go straight into the compost bin. It does use more water because there is an internal rinse cycle that automatically runs about an hour after the last cup. When removing the front panel to dump the rinse water and grinds, liquid drips on the counter top and has to be soaked up. It is a small puddle and a single paper towel will do, but could cause damage to a wood surface over time. There are a lot of moving parts inside. Hopeful that it lasts.
