I bought it for $30. So I can't be too critical about the camera. Main selling point is that it is water proof. While I did not submerge it, I took it to Niagara Fall and camera was drenched but works fine. For the price, I wouldn't mind taking it to pool and take underwater videos or photos. If it does develop leak, not much lost there. Size is also good. Buttons and control are good. Now, it's a good worry free water proof camera that is super cheap used. Still images are not very good in today's standards. Honestly, my pixel takes better pictures and my pixel is water proof. (At least splash proof) That kind of makes this camera less useful. My use for this camera would be for Kayaking. I don't want to risk dropping my phone in the water and I don't mind this camera being submerged and I still don't want to risk my smartphone that is waterproof to complete submerging. So it does have it's limited use. For $30, I don't mind.Read full review

I purchased this product as a replacement for my wifes previous Olympus Stylus camera. After many years of use the water tight battery compartment finally gave way and during an underwater photo session the camera was compromised. I looked into getting the camera repaired but found that the TG-610 had a higher pixel rating and a few more features for just a little more money than fixing the old one. We are very happy with the camera, I only wish it supported the Olympus XD picture cards that we already invested it.
I bought it to use it for my vacation to FL. What I liked most about it is that it is water proof and I wanted to take underwater photos and videos, and the price was right. The only thing I disliked about it was the battery life, however I did purchase 3 larger capacity batteries (1500 mah vs the 925 mah that came with the camera). I also bought 2 wall chargers to charge the spare batteries while the camera was in use. I would buy the product again. In fact I already bought another one for my daughter. As far as other products go, this one had the "most bang for the buck."
Battery charger no good. I have an Olympus cable from my camera and charged camera. One battery ok other trash. Camera is fine. Tested underwater too.

Quite possibly the best point and shoot camera I have ever owned. It's so easy to use! Picture Quality is great, loaded with features and it's size allows you to bring it anywhere.
My nephew has one and I liked its features very much so I bought one for my daughter and myself. Underwater pictures are awesome and the durability of the camera is neccessary for a teenager, wish I'd have bought this one years ago, wouldn't have had to replace hers so often.
Compact design, great picture quality. A lot of nice features and the battery is long lasting! Highly recommended.
Great camera! I was looking for a water proof camera and a friend recommended this one. Who wants to dive, also should see the other model, that can take picture as deep as 10 m.
