Even if you have a lower grade gpu this mother board along with decebt ddr4 ram and a decent processor will take you to new heights as far as speed and reliablity are concerned. However i recommend a new psu due to the enormous power draw this board can suck up. My specs i7 6700k overclocked 4.6 ghz, nvidia 970 gpu, z170a board, 32gb ram ddr4. Evga gold 850w psu all works pretty damn good
