This is the 2nd Kenwood mini chopper I have had. The first came brand new from a car boot and I have used it for about eight years and then it fell to pieces with wear and tear. This model seems much more robust and not as noisy as the original. It is super for making breadcrumbs and it purees vegetables to a wonderful consistency. I would recommend this product and give it a 5 star rating

Maybe it's just me, but i really don't understand the high ratings for this. (which were my main reason for choosing) Firstly, i expected it to be bigger, but it's small and a bit fiddly, overated and overpriced imho. The 'Two speed' means, 'press the button a bit harder' and it's more a blender than a chopper and you have to keep pushing the un-chopped lumps within reach of the blades; and the 'Mayonnaise attachment'?... a hole in the lid! In hindsight, wish i'd spent more and got something better. Sorry, i can't recommend this product.

This is a great little machine for making puree. It is a chopper of sorts but if you are heavy on the button the food gets down to mush so have a practice on some onion when you are planning to make onion gravy anyway. I ordered an extra bowl so I can use one just for onions and perhaps garlic. For making baby food ie. liquidising your own cooked food to baby and toddler consistencies it is wonderful. You can chop nuts or dried bread to make bread crumbs - soft new bread unfortunately clogs the blade. The bowl itself is easy to wash in soapy water but small pieces of onion can collect in grooves in the lid but these are not awkward to remove. It is a good inexpensive item if you want a liquidiser of food for small amounts but don't expect it to chop carrots etc into neat slices. I love it for onions.Read full review

This model replaced my worn out old mini chopper. It has a larger capacity than my old one and works super efficiently. It's such a useful item, it saves me getting my big food processor out and SO easy to clean. I've recently even used it to chop chutney ingredients rather than mincing them and it was great. It is my favourite kitchen gadget and I would never be without it. As it's so dinky it stores away in the cupboard and takes up very little room, and is therefore handy for all my kitchen chopping needs. Fantastic.
It takes me a while to pick the right product, especially when it comes to my baby. I wanted a product that purées food easily at a reasonable price; this product exceeds my expectations and I’m very glad I purchased it ! The first time I used it I used half a banana with some milk and water and I thought it wouldn’t take a small amount but it did perfectly ! The cleaning process takes less than 2 minutes. If you want something for babies this is deffo on the top.
