Pros: superb image quality, good stabilization feature, wide ISO range, Pentax lens compatability, focus assist light Cons: no screen indication of correct focus on MF mode, on/off button easily turns on when you store the cam, battery doesn't last as previous cams (yes, this has live view). I just made some shots with this camera and the picture quality is awesome...I have also a Pentax K10D and this has almost the same features yet in less weight and less bulky package...its not small enough to carry in the pocket but if you hang on you shoulder doesn't disturb you. I miss the focus indicator in the screen in MF mode...I really love the focus assist light, its a must. I also bought a Metz flash Meccablitz AF 44 and works fine, only the AF assist light of this doesn´t work as well the slave mode. I upgraded to 1.01 firmware that speed up the auto focus and fix some problems in low light conditionsRead full review
Older sensor in this mirror-less, 16 mega pixel, Pentax K-mount camera, means low light photos can be grainy, noisy. But that being said, great pics are possible with a little care. Adding light to low light situations, is a solution. Like a flash or other lighting. But yes, it's a K-mount camera. So all KAF2 lens and earlier can be used. That means thousands of lenses are available for this camera. Mic socket allows connecting an external microphone, for supplementary audio input options, during video making. Full HD up to 30fps, HD up to 60fps movies can be recorded. This is a good value camera, especially to supplement Pentax DSLR owners. Recommended (but read above)

I bought this kit for the 40mm xs lens to use on my k-3 and was going to put the body back up on Ebay. But this camera is great! Handles well, pocketable, excellent picture quality, and I can use all my K mount lenses on it. I'm keeping it!
