Thomas Lee Bass, with the assistance of Anthony Bozza, was able to create a literature that communicates in a style similar to how T-Bone talks. Tommy is the eternal teenager and one of the most recognizeable names in the music industry. I enojoyed reading this book from cover to cover. I do not often re-read a book that I have already absorbed, but this one I will keep and read once again after enough time has passed. I don't need to tell you what the book is about because there are already enough descriptions posted online. No point in me being redundant about the contents. Bottom line is, do I recommend it? Yes. Music CD's and DVD's and TV shows do not give the full scope into a person's live, whereas a book requires a lot of info to fill those many pages. That said, you will learn a lot about Tommy through this "manual" that was personally piloted by his own insertions rather than based on an outsider's take. Furthermore, this book DID make it to the New Yorks Times Best Sellers List. That alone lays testament to this literature being declared a worthy piece. 'Nuff said!Read full review
I am intrigued by Tommy as I just found out he was Greek...also read his brief explanation and was curios as to his what he had to say in regard to his open mindedness. Some of the content though may be a little risque for some readers but an easy read for sure.. ITs just a day in the ife of Tommy...... a Pretty crazy day, I mean he is Tommy Lee. _T
If you like Motley Crue and you like Tommy as an entertainer, you cannot go wrong with this book. He really opens up about his life and digs pretty deep to expose who he is at the core of himself. Very entertaining with some stories that may shock you a bit if you didn't already know about the incidences anyway. I personally loved this read myself and it's written in a unique style. You can tell this is being given to us by Tommy himself with some help, but it feels like he's telling you about it completely on his own. He's made mistakes just as we all have. His just went a bit further due to the era, the fame, and the fortune. We're only human after all. You can't help but love the guy and want to hang out with him. I think he would make for a great friend. Have fun with this one, I'm sure you will. I definitely did.Read full review

Let's face it, TL is a lovable type of maniac. The book isn't as nasty as " DIRT " but just as readable. TL had the bad luck of a 4 year old kid die in his swimming pool. Funny insights on him being a parent. His 3 mariages were interesting to read about also. His jail time.....wow.....powerful writing indeed. Him being sued by all sorts of people.....ect...ect.... Buy your self a 6 pack and a pint of Jack and have a good read !!
I purchased the book Tommyland several weeks ago and must say that I have truly enjoyed reading it. Definitely not for the timid or weak at heart as this is Tommy Lee at his best, providing you with information about his life and career in his own words. I have been a Tommy Lee fan since the 80's and true Tommy Lee fans will not be offended by the descriptive language or crude humor that he uses. If your easily offended I would not recommend you buy this book. If your a Tommy fan, you will love the book and enjoy the ride!
Good price. I was exited to read about Tommy Lee's life, and felt it was an OK read. I learned more about his childhood...my heart goes out to him for the loss of his Dad, and the little boy Daniel. God Bless them all. I wish he had elaborated more on his drumming, and felt at least he gave a taste of his musical philosophy and views. However, I would have appreciated the book more had it not seemed to recap and repeat most all of his chapters in the Motley Crue autobiography, 'The Dirt'. This was kind of a rip. I am sure there were a heck of a lot more he could have uncovered than regurgitating the stuff from the band book. WTF. Also, maybe I have grown up too much to think him giving his sexual organ actual dialog...really? To whom was this 'cute' for? Tommy. 'nuff said.Read full review
I love this book!! I've read all about the Crue and Nikki Sixx already. These guys never let you down. Tommyland is so much fun to read. Tommy Lee is such a genuine person. He is a beautiful soul without a doubt. I think just about anyone would enjoy this book. Just remember that it is a rockstar telling his story. Virginal readers need not try.
Book contains a few unknown facts, and alot of entertainment. Told from a down to earth persons point of view, not some snobby rock star like some would expect. Lots of humor, and interesting events that cordinate with the events in Nikki Sixx's book "The heroin diaries". I'm glad I bought the book.
I bought this book because my sister had it and I read only the first few chapters and I was hooked! This book gets down and dirty with Tommy Lee, like hes talking to you and telling you the story...I cant really explain it....you just have to read it!!
My Daughter has always been a huge fan of Motley Crue...This book was signed by Tommy Lee & the books Author, Anthony Bozza...She is absolutely thrilled that I was able to get it for her and at such a great price...
