    Good, dynamic, paced, nuanced

    I bought the album because of the song Jesus, Etc., and that remained the best song on it so it wasn't like a knock your socks off album with a hidden gem but it was a very solid CD and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reminiscent early 2000s era soft rock listen - Wilco rocks!

    I recently saw the making of this album featured on sundance and had been drawn into the band and perticulary this album. A long story short ... Band signs with WB Records ... WB pays to make the album ... then WB wants to change finished product for marketability reasons ... Wilco says nooo wayyy this is who we are, and were not changing the recording ... WB says umm ok fine take your recording (cause were giving it to you) in lew of termination of your contract with WB Records ... Wilco (being handed this gift) says geee ok and sifted out a number of lables and came up with a smaller less conservative lable called Nonesuch Records (whom by the way is parented by WB Records) so Wilco negotiates with Nonesuch gets the $300,000.00 for the finished product that was just handed to them by non ...
