About this product

Product Information

In this fast-paced, first-person shooter based on Masamune Shirow's manga series, players take the role of one of four main characters: Motoko, who is agile and quick; Batou, who is strong enough to wield the heaviest weaponry; Saito, a sharpshooter; or Togusa, a (mostly) human agent who is not as easily detected by machines as the other, cyborg operatives. Players can use any of these characters in each of the game's levels (nearly 20 in all), allowing them to choose the best skill set for each job. As they progress through most stages, characters are accompanied by small "tachikoma" tanks, which offer support in battle and serve as emergency protection if the heroes find themselves outnumbered. Like the playable characters themselves, tachikomas can be custom-upgraded with new weapons and equipment found while completing missions.

    Good Game

Pretty good game. Big fan of the Ghost in the Shell franchise. It plays good in the PSP.

  • great graphics, good playability

Following the Ghost in the Shell family comes Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex for the PSP, as a fan of anime I was looking for some game that would take my experience to the next level, "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" almost reached my expectations, though the graphics are great and the story very "ghost in the shell" type, the playability is not one I'd describe as smooth, too much used to PC keyboard and mouse games maybe, anyway, if you're used to the PSP Controls and like anime Ghost in the Shell won't disappoint you.

  • Probably just for GHOST IN THE SHELL fans alone.

The control set is a bit confused and that's being polite. Would I recommend the game? Well probably not unless you are a fan of GHOST IN THE SHELL. If you are then I say add a star to the score. It's a passible FPS but unless you are looking for an Anime game I can't give it a strong BUY recommendation.

  • A Good Shooter Game

This Game is fun. I haven't played all the way through yet but in my free time I enjoy this shooter game. I recommend to any Ghost in the Shell fan and for ones who like the shooter games as well. I bought the game because I love the series and enjoyed the PS2 game. If you can find this game I wouldn't pass it up. It is also very hard to come by.

  • Not bad

Im a big fan of GitS, so i had to buy this it plays pretty well it's kinda like a version of coded arms just with a bit more complicated controls, the fact that you can customize your character and tachikoma is very handy, so overall I'd say Its a decent game storyline wise and gameplay wise, especially if your a fan of the series.
