They will not allow for pickup at a local shipping store and won't reroute to a different address. I had to take a day off work to wait for the package. Very sharp and lightweight lens
This lens is a great telephoto zoom, usually a prime lens is considered to be sharper than a zoom. I have 3 zooms for my Pentax 645Z and all of them perform extremely well. The 150-300mm is a fantastic lens, its well made, lightweight , sharp and contrasty. Its quite a big lens, but no bigger than a 70-200 mm that you would find on a Nikon or Canon. Focus is very fast and doesn't hunt, once locked it stays locked, my only small criticism would be the lack of a tripod mount ring on the lens. Pentax 150-300mm f/5.6 IF for 645D
Pentax is known for their excellent lenses and sturdy build quality. This lens, designed for the 645N medium format cameras, fits nicely to the new Pentax 645D, a wonderful camera as easy to operate as a 35mm camera!!! One of the big advantages of Pentax is the backwards compatibility of their lenses, an the 150-300mm is no exception. It is fine gear and Pentax deserves success with it.
