If any black & white negative film has been well stored and unopened still sealed in all original packaging, chances are your results will be more than acceptable. However if it hasn’t been well stored (exposed to heat, light, moisture etc) then it’s a no no. I’ve purchased expired black & white film on several occasions and had no issues with fantastic results. Just make sure it’s well stored & not from the 50’s. Color negative film on the other hand is not forgiving. Don’t bother with long expired color film. This particular TMAX 100 is a beautiful looking black and white film with fine grain & superb contrast. I recommend it for all b & w photography purposes.

Great product. Have been using it for over fifty years. It is a shame that they had to go out of business.
