Camera is very effective and has low noise. Works with all nikon af dslr lenses with adapter. This camera is very effective in wildlife pictures and works great with the Nikon z50-250 lenses. This camera is also good for moon photography. Another advantage is its weight, which is light compared to comparable cameras. The instruction manual is very easy to use and the menu is better then competive cameras.

Great camera! Small, lightweight, easy to operate. I didn't need fancy video, nor the very small bump in quality of the BSI sensor of the Z6, so I went with the Z5 and am very happy. This is a FUN camera and I've already adapted tons of my older vintage lenses to it. You don't need the expensive FTZ adapter if your lenses are older manual focus-- just get a "dumb" adapter instead for less than $20.00.

If you’re focusing mostly on stills then you’d have no issue with the Z5. I have a Z6 as well and they are virtually the same. Even in higher ISO very little noise. I’m enjoying the camera. Now if Adobe will update so the raw files will be accessible

Image quality is stunning. Photos taken with the Nikkor 200-500mm f5.6 using the FTZ are tack sharp and crisp. I do miss the info screen on the top of the camera but for a $1000 discount, I'll live with it.

Couldn’t be happier. Nikon hit a home run with Z5. I wish it has a built in flash.
