This big, colorful, shiny paperback covers as much of the quilts and quilters from the 1933 Chicago show as the authors could find. The show was just a small part of the World's Fair, and records were not well kept. Some quilts were returned to the maker, and some of the families kept newspaper clippings, prize ribbons, etc. These quilts show a window into time --- 1933, in the middle of the Great Depression. Quilt books may be arranged by location, period, style, instructional --- all are useful in our understandng.
My wife loves it.
