In order to deep clean with thicker carpet, you need to use a lot of cleaning liquid, so be warned. The wet cleaning is a little finicky, but you'll get used to it. I would recommend, if you have a lot of messes, to just get a vacuum and a carpet cleaner separate from one another. It isn't a bad product, just definitely not for everyone.
