About this product

Product Information

Following in the footsteps of previous full motion video games from Digital Pictures, such as Night Trap and Sewer Shark, Ground Zero Texas features over 110 minutes of movie footage. Set in the fictional border town of El Cadron, players are tasked with removing an alien threat. Disguised as humans, the aliens will need to be uncovered and stunned through the use of special cameras armed with particle beams. Ground Zero Texas was directed by Dwight H. Little (Halloween 4, Marked for Death).

  • FLASH TO THE PAST

I used to play this game all the time. It is one of the really good sega cd games. You will enjoy this game if you appreciate nostalgia like I do. It is funny because if you mess up this sergant yells at you. And it is real people, not animation. I'm sure that in it's time this game took a lot of hard work to make. I still love it. You will too!

  • Ground Zero Texas Preview

Aliens have attacked El Cadron, a small border town in Texas. You’ve arrived to save the townspeople, who’ve been disappearing. These aliens have clever ways of disguising themselves as townspeople. Your mission is to do away with them, but they can’t be killed with regular guns. You’re armed with four Battlecams, with a stunning practice beam that stops the alien temporarily. Your RoverCam scans the landscape in search of the Reticulan weapon arsenal. Although once you find this, make sure you’re ready to defend yourself, because they will attack.

  • At this point, only get this if you're trying to build a collection.

Not a particularly spectacular game, but it's an interesting one, to say the least. Not something you would get unless you're a collector like myself. It's like Lethal Enforcers except.. it's a cheap Sega CD game. Only reason to have it is because of its relative rarity.
