Based loosely on the 2003 animated film, Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo for PlayStation 2 features characters, situations, and voice talents of the actor's from the movie. In this aquatic fish tale, players control Nemo, his father Marlin, and the absent-minded Regal Blue Tang fish Dory as they swim through the adventure collecting starfish (to unlock bonus levels) and shells (to increase one's score). Levels are timed, allowing players to focus on improving times, getting higher scores, and playing bonus levels.<br><br>During the game, the controllable characters encounter a variety of items and power-ups, including bubbles for trapping enemies, bubble (temporary) and red (permanent) rings for speed bursts, krill for protection, sea anemones (temporary invulnerability), and shell rings (shell score boosters). Featured enemies include electric eels, floating spiny sea slugs, hermit crabs, puffer fish, sea urchins, snapping clams, and squishes (jellyfish). Advancement from one level to the next requires meeting a specific goal, but each level also contains special challenges to earn extra starfish to unlock five new bonus levels (Luxo Ball, Pairs, Simon Says, Slide Puzzle, and Teamwork).

Finding Nemo Game
This game is very cute and the graphics are great. However, I bought this game for my kids, but it is hard for them to complete the levels. So, they need assistance through the game on most of the levels. The characters are hard to control, and you have to go through the rings and be careful to not go outside of the area or it will make you start over. This can become frusterating. However, with a little help they enjoy the game. I would recommend this game to an older child, or a younger child with an adults help, for family fun. A very cute colorfull game. The age rating for this game is not correct. I purchased this game for my five year old daughter thinking it would be easy for her to do. But the levels are hard for a child her age. If you go out of one ring it makes you start over. I thought that it would be more kid freindly and not so strict. She just kept getting up set that she had to keep starting over everytime she went out of a ring. The game would be good for a much older child...but usually older children want older games. Not finding nemo. I wouldn't recommend this game to a child under the age of seven. Unless they are extrememly patient or the parent has the time to sit down and get them through the hard spots which come at least every five minutes.The age rating for this game is not correct. Great Game
My brother bought this for his 10 year old daughter. The color in it is great and the displays are great. But she says it is for a smaller child to use not for her age group. She gave it to her younger sister who is 6 years old. She loves to play the game. She plays it most of the day and is getting really good at it for her age. A 10 year old wants something that has a challenge in the games to keep them involved in the game. Have different levels of playing the game. Good Game
My seven year old son loves to play this game. If my seven yeard old (PS2 pro) can play it and has a hard time beating the game then it was worth every penny. I purchase all my Playstation 2 games for my son on ebay and always find a great deal. This was a good buy.
