Plastic pawl on metal arms....guess what wins.
Plastic pawl went bad on original. Used maybe a dozen times. Metal engagement arms cut into the pawl preventing recoil.... Figure same will happen to this after a short while. Unfortunately, no other alternatives though, I bought another with a different plastic pawl design. I bet I'll have to keep a couple of spares anyway. Love the way manufacturers make a decent product and ensure more profit via their built in obsolescence of components.Plastic pawl went bad on original. Used maybe a dozen times. there is a part missing
There is a piece of black plastic that covers the flywheel that belongs inside the Orange cap of the assembly that is not there. Since this is a complete assembly this part would have been pre installed. The job of this missing piece is that it is a dust cover over the fly wheel and it also deflects air from the fly wheel to the carbitrator. It is completely missing on this assembly!
