After the replacement, they definitely helped with the looseness of the joystick. I wouldn't say that they brought it back to like 70%-80% and the joystick sticks in certain directions. I'm guessing because of little burrs that still exist from the injection molding process, but there were no major burrs and I'm hoping that after some use that it gets a little better. I'm just happy that these can still be purchased.
