Installed in a 2013 Chrysler 200. These are true Hi-Res speakers. I'm powering them with a Pioneer gm-d8704 hi-res amp. Which is a perfect match. 100wrms speakers with 100wrms amp. Pioneer is under rated (see budget gym or budget bust on YouTube (8604) which has same internals). Cone is paper-ish for more natural sound and the tweeter pivots. These will fit in rear deck and door with no mod needed. You need at least 320kbps mp3 to really tell the difference. These go for $199 on sonic electronix and crutchfield. I got mine for $119 which is a steal! I've owed Pioneer d-class, infinity primus(which these replaced) and infinity kappa 6x9s. The Pioneers sounded great but were to harsh on the high end. The primus, well they were primus. And the kappas were my favorite until these. Very similar to the kappas but more natural and detailed. If you find them for $119 GET THEM, you will not be disappointed. I have not pushed the low-ed as I'm running a separate 12" sub. And have an electronic highpass x-over at 63hz 24db, they hit hard though. They have a plastic basket and seem like are made cheaply but are not, they are extremely light with the neodymium magnet. The built in x-overs are high quality and the surround is of high quality rubber. I'm going to add a second pair to the rear deck. The only other hi-res 6x9s ive found are Polk. Don't waste your money on focal or diamond unless you are looking for bragging rights. Its the quality and specs that matter, not the name so much.Read full review
