I remember playing the SNES and Genesis versions of this game. I still own them. This game plays as I remember, though the button setup leaves much to be desired. The graphics are good, though the sound is rather lame. This game definitely plays better on the GameBoy Player. If you like older games, this one is worth getting. Anyone who ever played the SNES or Genesis version (Desert Strike) will instantly recognize this game. The only real difference is in the reward for delivering MIAs, prisoners, etc.: instead of getting 100 armor points restored, you'll get 150 for each one.
One of the best versions of a classic game, The view is a little zoomed in, and like the SNES version, you cant fire missiles and bullets at the same time, but the controls and sound are better than some other ports.
