The Reese bed anchor for trucks is a good product. I rate the anchors as good because it does what it’s design to do. It’s not the best design and will fail if used for super heavy loads. I use ratchet straps to strap down my loads. And just using the straps I can see the anchors begin to bend and pull out of the bed.
One of the anchors I purchased was missing a stud. It was ok because I had threaded rods I used instead for the rear anchors. The threaded rods went from the top of the bed to the bed bottom bracket. With this setup, the anchors will be able to handle heavier loads and more stress.
I recommend this product if you have no anchor points and need something to use as an anchor but be careful with heavier loads.
