The seller provided false information regarding the brand and description of the product. It was specified as an OEM Bosch item, but what I received was a counterfeit, unbranded alternator. Regrettably, they are unwilling to rectify the situation. I would strongly discourage any business dealings with this seller. In hindsight, I should have thoroughly reviewed the feedback from previous buyers before proceeding with the purchase.

I gave a product description rating of 2 stars because yes, it is an alternator. and is new. As far as being an actual Veleo part there are no marking that would prove this to be accurate. It fit on the mount well but the protective tabs surrounding the larger terminal had to be trimmed to fit the wire tab (installed on a 1999 Audi A4, 1.8T, Quattro). As for quality? Who knows? I only installed it because I had it. I'm currently looking for a true Veleo replacement.
