Notes
2018 release, the sophomore album from the Richmond, VA-based singer/songwriter. On the heels of her 2015 break-through self-titled debut album, The Future and the Past is a celebratory and defiant impassioned call for compassion and love in the face of the current US political climate. Prass taps into deep, dancey grooves that glisten with '80s pop and '90s R&B nestled alongside quivering, lushly orchestrated ballads. The album was produced by Matthew E. White at his Spacebomb Studios and mixed by Blue (Solange, Nas, Blood Orange) and Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Phoenix). Natalie's debut album was recognized as one of the Best New Albums by music review website Pitchfork. The album was also produced by White with Trey Pollard.
