Pioneer's PDM59 is a six-disc magazine CD changer. It's the entry-level unit in the company's Elite line, though it has some mid-level features. With automatic digital level control (ADLC), 32-track programmability and an optical digital output, this unit might be just what you need for making mixes onto MiniDisc or other digital media. The PDM59 also features a headphone output with a level control on the front panel and two-way editing (Compu-Program/Time Fade). Other amenities include two random play modes: normal, which can play any tune at any time, and delete, which doesn't repeat songs already played. The PDM59 automatically powers up or down, depending on whether you have inserted a disc.
