    Runs smoother than an Al Green slow jam.

    I was very impressed with the chains performance out of the box after touching it up with some fresh chain lube after install. I bought this chain as a replacement for the standard KMC x10 chain. While the special coating isn't as shiny as the standard nickel color, the chain has an understated bluish gray color that compliments the new 4700 Tiagra group set quite nicely. Time will tell how well this will persist, but I'm fairly optimistic from the month that I've been riding it that the chain's longevity won't disappoint.

    Synergistic with dry chain lube

    Most fresh chains improve shifting, and KMC wears as well as SRAM or Shimano. KMC's Missing Link seems easiest to deploy. . EPT resists corrosion, so less need for messier oily chain lubes, and is less expensive than stainless steel chains, which may not wear so well.
