    Great AM CB Radio.... 5 stars.

    Galaxy DX-939 is a great AM radio right out the box. I opened the speaker side and turned the modulation up just a little bit. VR16 on the circuit board. Increased the forward swing too 20 watts. Nothing but good reports. I personally thing the receive on this radio is much better than my cobra 29 LTD. smoother sounding. Buy one.

    Great radio

    Remarkable distance on transmit, very clear receive, great audio. This is my second Galaxy radio. I would them to any any serious radio operator. Fits well even in tighter applications

    Not so good

    Cheaply made Chinese junk. Had problems straight out of the box. Loose wires internally, multiple bad solder joints. Obviously these are not being tested for quality before they're put on market. Buy anything else, you'll be happier as long as it isn't made in China.
