Speaking about the air filter; it is fairly attractive and I like that the filters can be washed and re-used. I don't thing is filters smoke from the room. I live in a condominium next door to a smoker and I get the smoke into my unit (cold air vents or entry door?) Maybe I need to use a higher setting. It does move air. Time will tell how much the filters catch. I've only been using it about a week and a half.
