Another Stellar performance by Hopkins
This is a stellar performance by Anthony Hopkins. Hearts is a touching movie of an unlikely relationship of trust and friendship between Hopkins and a young boy. Hopkins is being sought by the CIA for unusual reasons to say the least. Young Bobby is employed by Hopkins to read the papers for his failing eyes. This is a tale of intrigue and trust and the love Bobby feels to his friend.

I like Anthony Hopkins, the story sounded good, Stephan King was the only aspect that I held off on. Turns out a far better movie, I regret having held off getting it earlier

This movie is terrible compared to Steven King's book by the same name.
First I read Hearts in Atlantis by Steven King. I was so drawn in by the low men and their cars that I could not wait to see that scene on the DVD. It was not included. Anthony Hopkins was wonderful as Ted, but alot was left out. The college scene for one. The best part of the King novel is when in the end there is a traffic jam and things like popcorn machines, baseball gloves, pianos all fall from the sky. This too was totally left out of the movie. I would say read the book, forget about this DVD. Or see the movie on DVD then read the book, it is better than the movie by far.First I read Hearts in Atlantis by Steven King.
