    Wow!

    I ordered this here as you see it...could not find specifications on it...I wanted it because it was a name brand...secretly I wanted the Larger one.. it looked like one of the small ones..but nooo...Im guessing its 5 in. and 1/2 in. wide..ahh! the one I really wanted..It sparks but I realize that Ill do better when I practice and get the knack!!Good yes largish striker...again....with a little practice...but Im getting sparks..paid about 7 bucks...am satisfied!!.............UPDATE...the striker dulls rather quickly...so I tried the back edge (spine) of a random kitchen knife and the thing NOW throws sparks!!

    Lower price for a better firesteel+handle that will last the rest of your life.

    This is a sturdy and long 5/16" firesteel with tether cord and glued-on handle that provides adequate grip. The included striker is garbage but the firesteel+handle makes this product well worth the price, most similar or even inferior products will cost you twice as much,
