This collection of four episodes from THE SIMPSONS sports a running theme of STAR WARS references. "Dog of Death" has the family obsessed with the lottery, while Santa's Little Helper gets sick, Kent Brockman wins the lotto, and the Simpsons go into debt paying for the pup's treatment. The family takes their resentment for privation out on the dog, and he has to run away before the Simpsons learn to appreciate their pet. Then, in "Marge be not Proud," Marge puts her foot down and says "no" to a violent video game for Bart, but when he is caught shoplifting the game she administers the dreaded silent treatment. Bart then devises a master plan to win back Marge's affections. "The Secret War of Lisa Simpson" finds both Lisa and Bart at military school, while in "Mayored to the Mob," a brawl at a sci-fi convention leads to Homer getting hired as Mayor Quimby's bodyguard, with disastrous results.Read full review
Other than a brief segment with Mark Hammill in the last episode on the DVD, it has practically NOTHING TO DO WITH STAR WARS. The title of this DVD is incredibly misleading and you can imagine my surprise when I went through and watched them ALL and found that there was a grand total of ONE Star Wars reference on the entire DVD. I, like most people on planet Earth, LOVE the SImpsons and it pains me to rate this DVD so poorly but the truth of the matter is, this is FALSE ADVERTISING and I am very unhappy about this purchase. It was Fox's attempt to capitalize on the Star Wars craze by slapping some light sabers in Bart and Homer's hands and throwing it on the cover, pretending this DVD has something to do with them being "Jedi." Don't waste your money, may as well just buy the different seasons.Read full review

Just more good old "Simpson" fun starring the resident brat. Loved it!

It is classic Simpson's, whats not to love. I was disappointed however that there was nothing really Star Wars related except one episode with a Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) cameo. If you like the Simpson's definately buy it. If you just like Star Wars but not the Simpson's then don't.
