Small, easy to use and great real keyboard for easy texting.
This is a really good phone if you don't want to be bothered with a new type of smart phone, want great reception and a real keyboard for easy texts. It also has the ability to access the "Mobile Web" which is good for light internet searches and quick access to your Verizon Account.

TXT Well with Poor Audio
Replacing my worn LG Cosmos II this phone is a disappointment. The keyboard and texting work well enough but the sound level and microphone are poor. I usually carry the phone in my pocket and cannot hear incoming calls because the speakers are enclosed inside, exposed only when you open the flip. The microphone is located in the left edge and the calling/ receiving party cannot hear me unless I move the end of the phone to my mouth. To have a conversation one has to move the phone between flip open to an ear to hear and left end to the mouth to speak and be heard. To get battery life ring tones, reminders and such are very short. My old LG Cosmos really hollered with its ring tone and people could always hear me - a much better designed phone. A+ Opportunities are endless with the LG EnV once you figure out all of the possible advantages for a non-touch qwerty flip. A This is overall a great phone that I would not think twice about at a great price.

Pros: keyboard, speakers, battery life, customizations (endless shortcuts that you can choose from), storage capacity, durability, reception Cons: camera is in a somewhat awkward location because my finger seems to always rest on the lens Summary: purchased this phone with a 2-yr renewal, and have had it for a little under a week now. sound quality and reception is amazing. even on speakerphone, i'm told it sounds like a land line. the full QWERTY keyboard is handy and feels very natural; i've been texting a lot more because this is so much faster than T9 predictive text. although the camera is great, it's in a spot that happens to sit right beneath my fingers when i have the phone open.. so, a little tricky in that regard, but that's really grasping at straws obviously. ringtones are ... I enjoy texting all of my buddies, and the full, four-row, easy to use qwerty keyboard allows me to do that. It has a incredible stereo sound system that allows for the crystal clear sound quality for both the music on the music player and ringtones. It has an option to choose just regular 1X data coverage or EVDO data to browse tones of music with VCast, and browse through and download applications to your phone fast. The outside of the phone features a standard keypad, for texting and dialing on the phone when it is closed. The only thing I don't like with this keypad is the directional menu button on the outside only has an up and down option, preventing me to scroll either ... It's a little annoying when trying to send a quick message and I may mess up something that I can't scroll back to, but other than that, the outside of the phone is fine. Bluetooth technology is a bit screwy with this phone, and that really bothers me, but I try not to need to use Bluetooth, because there is no telling when it is or is not going to work. The only other thing with this phone I do not like, and is probably Verizon's fault is the phone only stores your most recent call to a person. So if you call someone once, and then call the same number again, the phone is only going to keep a record of the most recent call to that number. Other than these three glitches with the EnV2, I cannot think of any other problems. I love this phone and I think it is the perfect one for me.
