    Great Battery!

    This battery was an exact fit for my iPod Nano 4th Gen. Seems good quality, holds its charge. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. Packaged well, and shipped quick. Couldn't ask for any more.

    Horrible tools. In over my head.

    I wish I would have watched a video of how to change the battery before attempting it myself. You need to solder it! So besides the fact that I was grossly unqualified to attempt this and ultimately ruined my iPod, the tools in this kit were total garbage. They broke easily and the blue plastic pieces chipped so much they were completely ineffective. If you only need the battery you should be fine but the provided tools were awful.

    The date stamped on this product was June 2013. Was it the right battery? I believe so. Was it any good? I’ll never know. It was very hard to replace and even harder to know if I did it right. Bad product or amateur installation? I’ll never know. What I do know is this, it worked before, it doesn’t now. Do your research. Have it replaced by a professional.
