In Crayola Treasure Adventure, gamers transform their stylus into a crayon and color their way through two modes of play. "Adventure" mode requires players to travel around the globe, to restore the missing hues from each level of play and find the hidden treasure. With the help of a map and a friend named Tip, gamers connect-the-dots, finish jigsaw puzzles, and complete timed mini-games to finish each stage. As each obstacle is completed, players are rewarded with new colors and additional pages for the coloring book. In the "Digital Coloring Book" mode, gamers can use 120 virtual crayons and markers to add their artistic flair to 110 different pictures.

PERFECT! Best game for handheld learners! Impressed
SO far this is the best game we have purchased. As a matter fact we will be buying a second copy for our three year old soon. It is very easy to understand and keeps them very entertained. I personally played around with the games a bit and loved it. The dot to dot by numbers and letters is a super success. The color pages are a win win since they cannot go out of the lines. This is definitely a score when you are looking for a younger child. I would suggest to anyone who is getting a starter game.SO far this is the best game we have purchased. This game is great for younger children! Makes an awesome portable, mess-free coloring "book". Helps with number recognition/sequencing (1-9)too! My 2 year old AND my 8 year old love it. Adventure mode is more for elementry age children. Color mode is for any age. Can chose from a wide variety of colors/shades. Can chose crayons or markers or color in your back ground and use and eraser to make areas white again!This game is great for younger children! Makes an awesome portable, mess-free coloring "book". Very Good Game for the young. Easy to understand.
I bought this item so my Grand children would be able to play a nice game on my DS Lite, it is a fun little game my Grand kids that are young would love to play and understand how to play without any problems. My Granddaughter is 4 years old and this game is perfect for a child of this age, so if you are looking for something worth your time to buy for your child who is young that will understand how to play this game without problems this is the game to buy. A little disappointed
I was excited to get this game for my daughter, who is four and unable to read on her own. But when we received the game, I was disappointed to see that it was a little too complicated for her. It's really just a series of mini games, and some of them I couldn't even figure out what you're supposed to do! The directions are unclear. Some of the mini games are a no-brainer however, for example there is a game where you simply color a picture or where you can draw freely. Those are pretty much the only ones my daughter plays. My daughter can play all of the Dora and Deigo games for the DS and beat them all, but this game was a little too complicated in just SOME areas. Overall, it's an ok purchase and does have it's good games, but like I said, I was disappointed in the user-friendly aspect ... Great game...This is our 2nd one.....my girls love it!!
My oldest has had this game for 2 years and now my middle daughter wants it cause she loves it and my oldest won't share her game!! They can color all sorts of pictures and play mini games. It's a great game for long car rides....keeps my girls busy for hours and hours and hours!!!!
