This is a compatible printhead, which I guess means generic? I installed it on our Datamax printer and was surprised how well it prints. So far the quality is better than the factory printhead. I was so impressed I ordered another as a backup. Shipping was quick and packaging was great. This will be my go to for printheads in the future, way cheaper than oem and prints better!
