    Nice old school phone

    This is an old phone but is in excellent shape. Does not look like it has been used very much. If you do not want to carry a small computer in your pocket, this is old school, just talk on the phone. am replacing one just like it,---truck tire got it.

    Decent phone, but reception is lacking

    I got this based on the many rave reviews on CNet. I had a Motorola Barrage (V860) and wish I would have kept it for one reason: reception ability. The V860 did a much better job of pulling in a signal. In places where the V860 would get 1 bar and be usable (could hold a call ok), the Convoy drops completely and says "searching for service". Otherwise it's an okay phone. I don't think it is nearly as rugged as the V860, it lacks immersion rating, and the battery cover is flimsy and lacks an O-ring. The latch also is easy to rotate. I could see it coming loose carried on a duty belt. Rugged? Don't think so. Other than the construction and reception issues, the phone has excellent battery life, much better than the V860. It also has a much better speakerphone and earpiece sound quality is ...

    Very good flip phone

    I got this phone for my dad and we have been very impressed so far with this phone (1 month). The voice quality is very very good and it is really easy to understand people on it. The camera takes very nice pictures and the overall phone is pretty fast with very little lag. The speakers are very loud and work very well. Battery life is extremely good lasting 4 days with no problem depending on use. The buttons are very big and easy to press which make them good for an older person. There is an option to make all fonts large which really help older people to see without their reading glasses. Overall you cant really go wrong with this phone if you are looking for a solid flip phone without too many bells and whistles. Everything just works which is awesome.

    Great Buy!

    The phone was great! I have three daughters all on a family plan with my husband and I. My middle daughter lost her phone and I replaced it with a new slider from ebay, which had more graphics on it but other limited capabilities. When my oldest daughter destroyed her phone by accident, I decided to search ebay for a replacement but I wanted something with more features than the old phone she had, and the middle child's "slider". This phone was a great buy at a great price and arrived right away, but her father had simultaneously bought her a new replacement! So instead of using this phone as a "replacement," for the oldest daughter, I gave it as a "reward" to the youngest daughter. The youngest daughter was the only one who did not destroy or lose her phone. She was elated to ...

    Loved the phone, yet still broke.

    I received this phone cheap after a 2 year plan with Verizon. This phone had enough features to make me happy yet be cheap enough that I am not fearing if it every broke on me. I took care of the phone, kept it in a leather case, yet the hinge on the right side broke on me. At first the LCD light broke and all was still well, then slowly a crack formed and after about 5 months it was large enounh that the hinge completly broke off. I liked the phone enough though that I am ordering another one off of Ebay to replace it. I uploaded the contact list to my computer for an easy move. The picture phone quality is good enough for semi-close pictures to remember. The video quality is pretty poor for replay value on actually making anything out. This phone is a beast though for its looks. ...
