Owner and Prt Friendly!
Two Labs 90 and 120 lbs. & Nissan Armada. Love taking them everywhere but hated the hassle of the ramp or lifting the Big Boy in and out. This answered the problem. Sturdy, always in place, easy to use for pet and owner with no lost ramp storage in the SUV or hassle of carrying it in and out of the vehicle. Easy mounting instructions, base can be locked in place, however the provided threaded bolt secures the mount in the hitch better. Steps are easily raised and lowered for use or removed and stored when needed using the two Red and Black spring loaded release and lock pins. Great product, well engineered and fabricated with quality material. Looks great and hatch opens and closes when mounted and in in upright or lowered position. Great steps for an older dog
This is a very good unit for an older dog. We have a 10 year old Labrador and the point of this unit was to allow him a pair of steps so it will be easier on his hips instead of jumping in and out of the back of our SUV. It is adjustable and flips up and down and can easily slide on and off the trailer hitch.
