Very nice knife .................
For the price you cannot go wrong with this one. This is my first KA-BAR knife and will be buying more from this company. The knife is sharp as a razor and very attractive. No imperfection whatsoever. If you are looking for a great bowie and priced right this is the one!!!!!

Solid but stylish
I love the traditional Bowie styling and old school looks of the stacked leather handle. It is a full sized side knife but still not heavy to wear. It came very sharp and is holding its edge well. I also own a Lil Finn that I love for daily work wear and I use this for hiking, hunting and camping. Like my Lil Finn I wish the sheath was designed differently with the strap down near the hilt, but that is my preference and maybe not everyones. I wish the strap was staked, stitched, pinned or riveted to the sheath so it didn't spin while trying to snap it shut. Easy fix though. Super sharp!
Nice blade. It does have the Ka-Bar Stamp one one side however, it says made in Taiwan on the other side. Not sure if that makes it less authentic. Overall a nice blade, I just hope it keeps it's edge

thought there quality went down hill but didn't
diapointed saw it was made over sea's. Wrote a letter to ka-bar about not all of there knives are made in the united states some are made in other countries. They are produced the same as always with the best metal possible. so I was pleased with there answer
