G21 aluminum recoil guide rod and spring assembly fits and works in my G21 platform. The back end of the guide rod was unfinished with very sharp edges and hanging shreds of aluminum remaining from the fabrication process. The backend appears to be welded on. I lightly filed and sanded the edges (shown in photo) to remove the hanging shreds of aluminum and sharp edges. Other than the minor rough finishing on the backend, this rod works so far for the initial 20 rounds of testing.

Bought this to allow carry of a Judge revolver around my property . Spotted several rattlesnakes in the past few years and looking for something durable. Had a Uncle Mike's but it just was too soft and flimsy. This holster comes with both a belt adaptor or paddleback (which I chose) mounting options. Light weight and safe.
Quality workmanship and material. I really like the safety of the locking mechanism. I prefer the the belt loop carry over the paddle style. To me it is more comfortable.
